Pranayama · conscious breathing

The yogic art of conscious breathing. Techniques to regulate the nervous system, connect body and mind and expand vital energy. Online and in-person sessions in Mallorca.

What pranayama is

Prana is vital energy; ayama means expansion. Pranayama is a set of ancient techniques that work with the breath to consciously shift internal states: calming the mind, waking up the body, regulating the nervous system, sharpening focus or preparing for meditation.

Benefits of a regular practice

Reduces stress and improves sleep quality. Increases lung capacity and breathing efficiency. Regulates the autonomic nervous system, balancing activation and rest. Improves focus and mental clarity. Supports emotional processes.

What the sessions look like

One-to-one or small-group sessions where we learn specific techniques (diaphragmatic breathing, Nadi Shodhana, Kapalabhati, Bhramari, box breathing, among others) and weave them into a progressive, sustainable practice.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need previous yoga experience?

No. Pranayama can be practised on its own. I adapt the session to your starting point and breathing capacity.

Is it the same as breathwork?

Modern breathwork draws from pranayama, but pranayama has an ancient yogic root and a specific intention: working with vital energy and states of consciousness.

Can it be done online?

Yes. Many people practise pranayama with me online, in one-to-one video sessions.
